I believe that one of the most deadly effects of social technologies (smart phones, social media, etc.) for Christian young people is the increasing tendency toward multitasking.

I think we all know that multitasking is not as effective as pure focus, but we enjoy the adrenaline of multitasking nonetheless. No one has summed it up better than Erik Qualman in his book Digital Leadership: “multitasking is junkfood for your brain.”
