Tips and Tools for New Bible College Students

Last week, I gave a lecture to kick off the new college year titled “Academics for Everyone.”

Eston College put together a blog post that provides links to the tools I talked about, specifically regarding bibliographic software, bible software, and my favorite, anti-distraction software, etc.

If you want to check it out, go to: “Academics For Everyone – Keeping Christ Central.”

    Hey Josh,

Along with the tools you’ve listed above, I’d add Zotero (http://www.zotero.org/) as a great tool for Bibliographic Software. Its a great tool, and completely free – personally, I like Zotero over Mendeley, but there are lots that swing the other way, might be good to show students a few options.

Also, for task management (especially collaborative, but also personal), I can’t say enough good things about Trello (https://trello.com/). If you haven’t used it before, I’d highly recommend you check it out!
